Marine Debt Management (MDM) is receiving reports that vessels in the related fleets of International Maritime Advisors & Management Corp., Shanghai and MFS Shipmanagement Corp., Athens http://www.m-fs.com/ are unable to trade due to financial problems. Certain ships are detained due to arrest by creditors or lack of regulatory approval. MDM has identified 12 ships now lying idle, some for periods of three months or more. MDM is continuing to monitor the situation and update clients.
